ConnectWise PSA → payroll
Every pay cycle, someone on your team exports approved time, cleans it up in a spreadsheet, and keys it into payroll. Here is every tool we checked, and what each one actually does with CW PSA time.
This page is research, written down. Nothing on it is for sale yet.
In March 2026 an MSP owner with 35 to 40 staff asked r/msp for a payroll platform that imports CW PSA timesheets. Four people answered from experience. He edited his own post afterwards:
“For future posterity, it looks like basically everything is going to require middleware.”
r/msp · original poster · 25 Mar 2026“My team looked into this exact thing. Everything ended up needing some kind of middleware or manual sync. Rippling technically had an integration but it wasn’t as plug-and-play as we expected. Ended up being more export/import plus cleanup than true sync.”
reply · 14 Apr 2026, three weeks later“The payroll person goes in and just pulls the weeks she needs.”

ConnectWise’s integration ecosystem was built to bill your customer, not to pay your tech. That is why the hole is shaped exactly like this.
| Tool | What it does with CW PSA time |
|---|---|
| Rewst | Documents 80+ integrations. BambooHR is the only HR or payroll one, and it moves employee records. No timesheets, no hours. |
| Wise-Sync | Invoices, payments, procurement, inventory and expenses into Xero or QBO. No payroll. |
| LaborCast | Reads CW PSA time and allocates labour cost by line of business. Runs after payroll is imported, so it answers a different question. $149/month. |
| Rippling | Has an import. Operators above describe it as closer to CSV than to a sync. |
| Gusto, BambooHR | Same story per the thread. CSV import or middleware. |
If you were about to spend an afternoon checking those yourself, that is the afternoon back.
you press run, the same way you do now
Gusto publishes the endpoint this would use. It accepts shift level entries with hours split by pay category. CW PSA time entries are already shift shaped, so the work is mapping rather than invention.
$99a month, flat, any headcount
That number is anchored on LaborCast charging $149 flat for a neighbouring CW PSA add-on sold to the same buyer. It is a starting point, and we would rather be told it is wrong.
No code, no beta, no waitlist that turns into a launch email next week. This page exists to find out whether the thing is worth building, and the only way to find that out is to ask.
If you run CW PSA and pay people, tell us two things. What payroll platform you use, and roughly how long the pull and cleanup takes each cycle.
If enough answers come back, we build it and you hear first. If they do not, we will say so on this page.
Opens your mail app with the two questions in it. No form, no tracking, no list.
